In my normal perusal of online news and periodicals, I
noticed that more Jihadist groups are deciding to affiliate with ISIS, or ISIL,
or the Islamic State. The latest conglomerates of murder and mayhem are from
Uzbekistan and in the city of Darnah, a city in eastern Libya. The estimated
fighting strength of ISIS has ballooned from between 6,000-8,000 when they
first began to overrun Iraq to estimates in excess of 50,000 now. The estimates
are probably overstated, but nevertheless, this murderous virus is growing.
How do they grow? Why would a supposedly normal, and
moderate, Muslim decide to radicalize and join the most violent group on the
planet? First of all, the Islamic State is PR savvy. They publish pictures of
themselves marching triumphantly through captured cities in orderly fashion and
in a recognizable uniform. After all, who doesn’t look good in basic black with
a matching balaclava? (Show me a police SWAT team without that dashing
balaclava and I’ll show you a SWAT team with thong underwear and nipple rings.)
They also make full-length movies, trailer included, that highlight an
abundance of explosions, automatic weapons, and victory after victory. You also
get to see our black balaclava wearing leading men in full action as they
execute hundreds of captives. (full article here) What could be better for
recruiting a bunch of uneducated, unemployed, and Sharia brainwashed teenagers
and 20-somethings than fighting against the damnable Crusaders?
One problem is semantics. The words “crusade and crusader”
have been co-opted by Muslims, our own media, our educational system as it
finishes off the dumbing down of our students, and the Hollywood intelligencia.
(You should now be giggling at the reference to Hollywood and intelligence.)
The crusader is always the European knight and their unshaven minions tromping
through the Holy Land savagely slaughtering the Muslim population that is only
seeking peace. This is hogwash. The first crusade began in 622 when Mohammed
led his army from Medina to capture and conquer the world for Allah. Submission
to Allah is the reason the world was created according to Muslim theology.
(Always remember that Islam is the religion of peace as they cut your head
off.) I have linked here a wonderful article by Michael Novak. It is long but
well-worth the effort. By 622, Christianity had spread throughout the Middle
East, into Europe, and as far away as India. It had done so without an army and
armed only with the truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent to earth to
die for sinners.
The Muslim crusade is still going on, both on the
battlefield in the Middle East and in the heart of the western world where a
continuous migration of Muslims moves into our cities and establishes Muslim
neighborhoods, mosques, and a Sharia based way of life that is not conducive
for integrating into the established societies. Regarding Islam, there are three
things you should remember. First, Islam is not a religion of peace. You submit
or you die. Secondly, there are no
moderate Muslims. They believe in the Quran and the Quran is written to
subjugate and kill non-Muslims. Remember all those “moderates” in the West Bank
that poured into the streets and rejoiced at the destruction of the Twin
Towers? And thirdly, whenever you hear a Hollywood elite like Ben Affleck
espousing the mischaracterizations of Muslims, just remind yourself that he is
an actor, someone who portrays someone else, and in this case a person who is
terribly misinformed about Islam.
